The 5 STA-Z educational game consists of a board that can be played by up to 5 players, 500 playing cards summarizing each subject matter, a dice and game pawns representing the 5 brightest stars in the galaxy.
Our first product, the 5 STA-Z is a low-cost, fun and engaging board game based on Uganda’s education curriculum. The game comprises four modules (Maths, English, Science, and Social Studies) taught at the Ugandan primary school level. By utilizing a student-centred learning approach, the game allows children to learn on their own or with peers, within the classroom and at homes. This will allow teachers to better manage overcrowded classrooms especially in under-resourced communities like refugee camps.
